Institutional General Assembly & Rest and Recreation/Organized Joy Day

Please be informed of the following details for the General Assembly, Organized Joy and Rest & Recreation Day:

        
  1. INSTITUTIONAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY
    1.           
    2. The Institutional General Assembly will be on May 15, 2014 at the SENTRUM.
    3.            
    4. Registration and distribution of food stubs will start at 7:00 am to 8:00 am at the SENTRUM Lobby.
    5.           
    6. The Holy Mass will be held at the Capilla de San Juan Bautista de La Salle at 8:00 am.
    7.        
    8. Program follows at the SENTRUM immediately after the mass.
    9.           
    10. All co-workers must come in smart casual attire (NO JEANS). All service awardees, newly-permanent employees for SY 2012-2013, and newly-hired employees are requested to come in semi-formal attire.
    11.           
    12. Rehearsals for the service awardees will be on 15 April, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the SENTRUM.

  2. INSTITUTIONAL REST AND RECREATION /ORGANIZED JOY DAY
  3.          
    1. Date of the R & R and OJ. The Insitutional Rest and Recreation with Organized Joy Day (OJ) will be on May 16, 2014 at Dalampasigan Beach and Pool Resort in Sariaya, Quezon.
    2.              
    3. Assembly Area and Time of departure. Assembly will be in front of the SENTRUM. Assembly time will be at 4:00 am to 4:30 am. Time of departure will be at 4:30 am.
    4.              
    5. The activity is exclusive to DLSL employees.
    6.              
    7. Attendance. Registration and head count will be done by the Team Leaders upon departure from DLSL and venue. This is considered a REGULAR WORKING DAY and attendance is required to all full-time co-workers as well as the part-time instructors who signed-up to join the activity. Only those who are on Official Business, Sick Leave, Maternity Leave, Approved Personal Leave (covered by terms and conditions) will be excused.

    9. Organized Joy Day (OJ). Employees are divided into ten color-coded groups and each group has a Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader (please see attached.). The groupings will be posted at the Bulletin Boards (HRD, College, IS, and attendance areas) and will be given to the assigned team leaders.
    10.              
    11. Shirt for the OJ. Shirts will be claimed at the HRD office on May 15, 2014, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Everyone is expected to wear their shirts before leaving DLSL on May 16, 2014.
    12.              
    13. Schedule of Activities. The OJ will be in the morning wherein exercises, fun games and activities will be facilitated. The afternoon will be free time for socials, swimming, and other rest & recreational activities. The resort implements a strict policy on swimming attire for the pool - no zippers, cotton, and maong fabric.
    14.              
    15. Food. Breakfast will be distributed thru the team leaders before departure from DLSL. Morning and afternoon snacks as well as lunch will be served at the venue. Food stubs per team will be given to the Team Leaders for an organized distribution.
    16.            
    17. All DLSL Vehicles will be used for the R&R and OJ. Buses will be assigned per team. Members of the team and committee must be in their respective buses/vans to and from the venue, transferring to other buses/vans is not allowed for proper monitoring of head count.
    18.            
    19. Personal Vehicles. Bringing of personal vehicles will be allowed and MUST be at the venue on May 16 at 6:30 am for attendance checking. Employees who will bring their own vehicles should inform the HRD thru a letter with the list of passengers on or before 11 April, Friday for determination of the number of vehicles to be used/rented. Gasoline expense shall be shouldered by the concerned employee. Employees who are on the submitted list must be on the same vehicle to and from the venue.
    20.            
    21. Expected time of departure of all employees from the venue will be between 5:30 to 6:00 pm. Everyone should be ready for departure by 5:00 pm.
