How can I donate to DLSL?

Annual Grant is a financial gift offered primarily in support of education or for the purposes specified by the donor/s, such as prize grants and faculty grants.

A named Annual Grant may be a single gift or a series of gifts for a pledge and is expended in the year given.

An Annual Grant is terminated when the principal gift is depleted and with the expressed wish of the donor/s to discontinue the commitment.


Endowment is a financial gift offered primarily in support of education or for the purposes specified by the donor/s such as professorial chairs, named rights, endowed prizes and faculty grants.

Only the interest earnings of an named Endowment is used for its intended purpose. The principal gift held inviolate and untouchable, unless specified by the donor and with the approval of the DLSL President.

A gift of at least PhP 100,000.00 or its equivalent in foreign monies is needed to establish a named Endowment.


Shared Gifts is an arrangement to pool together gifts from two or more people.

The total collected shared gifts may be established as an Annual Grant or Endowment.


General Donations are charitable gifts in the form of cash or cheque. These donations are offered free from any conditions or restrictions and may be used by DLSL to establish Annual Grants, Endowments or as part of the operating fund for scholarship programs.


Donations in Kind are charitable gifts in the form time, talent, and treasure given for educational purposes or in support of an educationally related program or cause.

Forms of Donations in Kind:
- Lecture/Seminar Speaker & Professional Services
- Books, clothing, food, accommodation
- Land or Real Estate Property
- Materials or Equipment
- Artworks or Artifacts
- Other Tangible Property
