A. STUDENT LOAN PROGRAM (DLSL-SLP)
This loan facility is extended to students seeking financial help to complete their undergraduate course and graduate from DLSL. This student loan is granted to a student in financial need to pay for their tuition and fees during the semester.

Qualifications:
Graduating students can avail of the Student Loan Program (SLP) however, undergraduate students in dire need of a school loan can apply but approval will depend on the assessment of the need of the student and the availability of funds. A student can apply once during the year.

Coverage and Amount of Loan:
This loan assistance is granted to defray the cost of the tuition fee, school fees and valid related educational expenses like thesis writing. Student loan grantees can avail of a maximum loanable amount of 100% of the actual tuition and school fees indicated in the enrollment assessment form (EAF).

Application Procedure:
The student loan applicant should apply directly to the LAMP Office during the current school term or as the case maybe. He/She should submit the necessary documentary requirements of the office. SLP Application Form and Promissory Note are available at the LAMP Office. 

The LAMP Office shall screen and process the application in accordance with the set criteria and fund availability. The same office shall endorse the application for the approval of the Vice Chancellor for Mission.

Repayment Terms:
The student loan applicant shall present a promissory note duly signed by the parent/guardian specifying the repayment schedule within the quarter, semester or school year.

The loan payment shall be made at the Cashiers Office after securing a referral slip from the LAMP Office. Afterwhich, the Official Receipt shall be presented to LAMP for recording and clearance from loan obligation.



B. CHED SAFE LOAN PROGRAM
The Student Assistance Fund for Education for Loan (SAFE Loan) is a program to assist financially needy students who are in their 3rd, 4th, 5th or graduating year of study. Priority shall be given to those enrolled in CHED Priority Courses. The loan grant can be used for tuition and other school fees, books and course projects, thesis writing, board and lodging, graduation fees, and other valid related educational expenses.


Title and Coverage:

This additional student assistance package shall be known as Student Assistance Fund for Education for Loan (SAFE Loan). The program shall cater to financially needy students who are in their 3rd, 4th, 5th or graduating year of study. Priority shall be given to those enrolled in CHED Priority Courses.

The loan grant can be used for tuition and other school fees, books and course projects, thesis writing, board and lodging, graduation fees and other valid related educational expenses.


Selection of Grantees and Documents Required from Grantees

The applicant-grantee must submit the following requirements:  

  • Duly accomplished SAFE Loan Application Form 
  • Community Tax Certificate


Amount of SAFE Loan Grant:

Qualified loan grantees can borrow as much as Eight Thousand Pesos (Php 8,000) depending on individual circumstances and requirements.
