  HRM Students Explore Singapore

  The 3rd year BS HRM students taking up International cuisine visited the Lion City last March 7-9, 2013. It was a three days and two nights educational tour in Singapore. The students were exposed to various key destinations such as Merlion Park, Clark Quay and Marina Bay Sands. The participants also had the opportunity to see the picturesque of Fullerton Hotel, the Esplanade, the Singapore Flyer, Helix Bridge, Chinatown, Jewel Box located at Mount Faber and the Botanic Garden. The students also experienced a wide variety of international food. One of the best highlights of the educational tour was the training and seminar at Singapore Hotel and Tourism Education Centre (SHATEC) Institute where the group attended a wine appreciation and cooking demonstration of French cuisine. The group was accompanied by CIHTM faculty Ms. Rhikie Rose Maranan and LICA Head, Chef Shirley de Jesus. Share
