As this beloved institution celebrates its Golden Jubilee Year, the De La Salle Lipa Integrated School Faculty and Staff Association (DLSL IS FSA) actively participated in the celebration of the Golden Anniversary through the Faculty and Staff Wall project. The Faculty and Staff Wall project is a 32" x 60" photo collage frame consisting of the faculty and staff who are, were and had been connected to the Integrated School or its former nomenclature (e.g. High School, Unified School) in his/her capacity as faculty or staff (academic non-teaching, and academic-related) for at least twenty five years, whether continuous or intermittent. The said frame shall be permanently installed in the exhibit lounge (the second floor) of the Br. Vernon Mabile Learning Resource Center (BVMLRC). The Faculty and Staff Wall was unveiled during the Catholic Teachers and Staff's Day celebration on January 25, 2013. The program begun with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 11:00AM at the Capilla de San Juan Bautista De La Salle. It was followed by the blessing of the Statute of Jesus with Children. The Student Coordinating Board (SCB) prepared a Variety Show and lunch at the nostalgic Br. Henry Virgil Memorial Gymnasium. Emyla Ongkiatco, SCB President, Rey Villegas, IS FSA President, Dr. Alice Botardo, Vice Chancellor for Academics and Research, Violeta Ramirez, Vice Chancellor for Mission, and Dr. Joey Panganiban, DLSLAA Inc. President, led the unveiling of the Faculty and Staff Wall while teachers, parents, students, and alumni witnessed the event. All the forty five faculty honorees were given a certificate and token during the event. DLSL High School Class of 1986 sponsored this noble endeavor. The DLSL IS FSA believes that this momentous project will give recognition to the commitment of the faculty and staff who have served/been serving this righteous institution for at least twenty five years. Also, it is deemed that the recipient faculty and staff will develop a sense of pride, fulfilment and dignity for acknowledging their sacrifices and dedication in teaching minds, touching hearts and transforming lives. Furthermore, it is assumed that this noble undertaking will inspire new faculty and staff in the Integrated School to adhere in their commitment about the mission entrusted by the dear founder, St. John Baptist De La Salle.
