June 30, 2013 marked another milestone for the AB Communication Department as its faculty and co-workers from the College of Education, Arts, and Sciences witnessed the Investiture Ceremony of its former Chair, Eldrick S. Pea at the Holy Apostles Senior Seminary in Guadalupe, Makati City.

In a two-hour solemn concelebrated mass attended by families, relatives, and friends, the 3 investees of the batch were offered their habit, signifying their completion of the first year in the seminary. A family day followed where guests were treated with sumptuous lunch, parlor games, and special numbers from the seminarians. Later in the day, the entire seminary was opened for public visits.

Pea, who is now known as Brother Eldrick, left DLSL in 2012 to enter his late vocation of priesthood. He is an alumnus of the Integrated School and worked in the institution for 14 years, serving as faculty and Chair of the former Languages and Literature Area and later as the Chair of the Communication and Multimedia Arts Department. Now on his 2nd year, Brother Eldrick will spend 5 more years to complete his studies.

Br. Joaquin Martinez, FCS, D.Min. led the DLSL well-wishers along with Cherie Glo Cabungcal, Ana Resurreccion, Joanne Marie Jumarang, Marianito Dio Jr., Lorna Achico, Maryann Illana, and Fr. Leonido Noni Dolor, former school Chaplain. Maria Angelica Reyes, an AB Comm alumna and TOSP 2011 awardee also attended.
