De La Salle Lipa's Student Coordinating Board (SCB) representatives had a productive and successful engagement at the YMCA 28th National Assembly of High School Students on December 10-13, 2016 at the Teachers' Camp, Baguio City.

The 10 Lasallian leaders, accompanied by coaches, Jocelyn Rosos, Integrated School - Student Activity Head, and Hirodian Baon, SCB Adviser, gave a positive impression among fellow participants that led to the nomination of five delegates.

A total of 15 participants were chosen as the Outstanding Delegates out of 800 attendees. Three of the awardees were SCB Lasalllian leaders, Chantal Therese Laude, SCB President; Anthony Cedric Mandado, Grade 10 SCB Representative; and Aimee Kristine Aquino, Grade 9 SCB Representative.

Based on the Department of Education Advisory No. 252, s. 2016, the program aims to "1) contribute in the development of the participants to become effective and committed Christian leaders; 2) help them understand current issues and concerns, and explore positive and relevant responses; and 3) encourage the youth to actively participate in protecting the environment to ensure conservation of the earths natural resources for the future."
