The Office of Research and Publications (ORP) spearheaded the mentoring program for faculty members with research proposals for SY 2014-2015.

Experts from DLSU Taft, DLSU Dasmarinas and Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation were tapped to serve as mentors for DLSL college faculty researchers.  Last October 22, 2014, Dr. Jesusa Marco Research Fellow of DLSU Taft conducted a one-on-one session to four CEAS faculty members: Cherie Glo Cabungcal, Annaliza Resureccion, Renan Kasilag and Michael Ramos in order to give them some feedback about their proposals.

CBEAM faculty also underwent mentoring with Dr. Jacqueline Morta, Dr. Carmelyn Antig, Dr. Jonathan Gochuico (DLSU-Dasma) and Dr. Gerardo Largoza (DLSU-Taft) on areas of management such as: Organizational dynamics, project/risk and business management, educational management/instructional materials development and applied management science.

In November, another mentor Dr. Felix Mercado of Enverga University will be coming to DLSL to serve as mentor to researchers with proposals related to language, linguistics and literature.

Mentoring program is part of the ORPs commitment of helping researchers in the process of writing their papers. Through mentoring, researchers can be given directions from conceptualization to publication.  Mentors can also serve as peer-reviewers.
