Faculty Researchers Share Results of Studies in Various Conferences

The first semester of SY 2014-2015 proved to be productive to DLSL faculty members as they engaged themselves in various research presentations in international and national conferences. The College of Education Arts and Sciences had the most number of research presentations. 


Leading this semesters researcher was Michael M. Ramos with three international presentations. He was followed by Bernardo C. Lunar who had two international presentations and one national presentation.


Other CEAS faculty members with international presentations included: Renan Kasilag, Joe Macatangay, Joy Talens, Ph.D., Ivee Guce, Ph.D., Richard Magsino, Joseph Angelou Ng, Aristotle Balba, Aldin Gonzales, Catherine Precioso, Vivienne Rhea Padura, Roy Dalisay, and Hermogenes Panganiban, DPA. 


Engr. Imelda Martin and Andrenelyn Varona of CITE and CIHTM shared results of their research works to an international audience in USA and Japan respectively. 


Noriel Navita of the Integrated School presented his paper in the international conference sponsored by the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) Batangas.


In the national scene, some faculty members with research presentations were: Renan Kasilag, Joseph Angelou Ng, Catherine Precioso, Edmerson Geronimo, Vivienne Rhea Padura, Bernardo Lunar, Jesirene Villanueva, Marisol Laguardia, Renato Maligaya and Bonifacio Train, Jr. National presentations were held in Manila, Cebu and Baguio. 


International presentations attended by faculty members were held in Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Philippines, USA and Japan.


Meanwhile, some CBEAM faculty members participated as presenters in international conferences in Penang Malaysia and Hong Kong in November. CBEAM professors with international presentations included: Wilfreda Dimano, Edgar Allan Castro, Ph.D., Sheila Maloles and Jasmin De Silva. In November, Aileen Joy Saul will present a paper in UP Diliman for an international conference while Joy Talens, Ph.D. will fly to Taiwan to present two of her papers.


Upcoming presentations of faculty members will be research conferences sponsored by the CHED IV-A CRC (2014 Research Conference), DLSU-Dasmarinas (Research Festival) and Lyceum of Batangas (Sotero Laurel Research Forum).
