Research Works of Faculty Published in Int'l Journals

Publications being the hallmark of academic excellence continue to thrive as research works of DLSL faculty members were published in different international journals during the first semester of SY 2014-2015.

The International Journal of Social Science and Humanity published in its August issue the papers of Jose Macatangay titled Understanding and Perception of Plagiarism among College Freshman Students of De La Salle Lipa and Michael Ramos paper Inculturating Theology in the Indigenuous Categories: The Quest for Filipino Cultural Identity.

In the International Journal of Education Studies, the paper of Jose Macatangay, Transition into Teaching: The Lived Experience of Education Graduates of DLSL was included in its October 2014 issue.

The Asia Pacific Journal of Education Arts and Sciences released as part of its September issue two research papers of Michael Ramos: Theological and Doctrinal Terms Articulated in Filipino Language: A Pedagogical Approach in Religious Studies and Ang Dalawang Anyo ng Subli: Laro at Panata. In the same journal, the paper of one IS faculty, Noriel Navita titled Teachers Multicultural Awareness of the School Environment: Basis for a Proposed Multicultural Awareness Enhancement Program for Teachers as well as Aristotle Balba and Aldin Gonzales paper To Choose Without Sacrificing Happiness: A Marxist Reading of Jose P. Laurels Concept of Freedom and Morality were part of the publication. 

The Asia Pacific Journal of Multidisciplinary Research had for its October 2014 issue published the research papers Enhancing Higher Order Thinking Skills in a Marine Biology Class Through Problem-Based Learning, written by Richard Magsino, Transforming an Exposure Trip to Botanical Expedition: Introducing Ecological Research thru Exposure Trip in an Eco-Tourism Site, of Bernardo Lunar and  Familiarity and Understanding of Chemical Hazard Warning Signs Among Select College Students of De La Salle Lipa authored by Bernardo Lunar, Viviene Rhea Padura, and Ma. Cristina Francesca Dimaculangan.

Through the continuous publications of DLSL faculty and support from the Office of Research and Publications (ORP), publications in ISI and SCOPUS indexed journals may not be far behind.
