ORP strengthens trainings for statisticians, editors, publication officer, technical staff

In its desire to improve the soft skills of statisticians, editors, publication officer and technical staff, the Office of Research and Publication sent them to various seminars and trainings.

Joe Macatangay, publication officer has attended the DLSU-Dasmarinas Research Week along with Marife Malaluan; Training on Trends in Journal Management for International Indexing (ISI and Scopus) with Dr. Edgar Allan Castro; and Training on Writing an Effective Journal Paper with Mr. Amelito Castillo.

Last November 25, Vicenta Mayuga, Iezyl Torino and Marjeric Buenafe attended the Data Analysis for Health Researches Workshop sponsored by the HRDCR IV-A.

At DLSL, 20 statisticians and faculty members from college and IS attended a two-day training, November 20-21 on Statistical Data Analysis facilitated by Mr. Johnny Amora of De La Salle College of St. Benilde.

The ORP is really vent at honing the skills of everyone involved in maintaining the quality of both faculty and student research.
