ORP holds annual research forum for faculty and ASF

The Office of Research and Publications (ORP) spearheaded the 2016 Research Forum with the theme "Lasallian Studies and Research: A Gateway to Transformative Education".

Integrated School (IS) faculty members had their presentation on May 19 while the College faculty and Academic Services Faculty (ASF) had theirs on May 24. Present during the Integrated School’s research forum as keynote speaker was Dr. Maricar S. Samson, Associate Principal for Senior High School in DLSU -Science and Technology Center. There were 29 research outputs presented during the said activity. The researches of IS faculty focused on students’ academic performance in order to attain quality education.

The invited keynote speaker for the College and Academic Services Faculty (ASF) forum was Dr. John Addy Garcia, Dean of the College of Education DLSU, Manila. Nineteen (19) research outputs anchored on Business, Health, Safety, Security and Environment Culture and Humanities and Education and Lasallian Studies were presented by college faculty while five (5) research outputs were presented by ASF. 

Likewise, Dr. Garcia discussed with the guidance counselors current research trends and utilization of guidance office data for research while the librarians had their session on utilization of library data and trends in library services with Ms. Rhea Rowena U. Apolinario, Assistant Professor I at UP School of Library and Information Studies.
The research forum is a venue for researchers to share new knowledge and an opportunity for everyone to participate in an exchange of ideas in a scholarly passion.
