It’s De La Salle Lipa’s 44th Foundation Day! More or less, it’s like a birthday, too, and DLSL is now 44 years old!
Just like in birthdays where the host plans games and programs for guests, DLSL has much in store for the people it considered family all these years: YOU!... (and your older or younger brother or sister, your parents, your pinsan, your neighbors even – as long as they became part of De La Salle Lipa!)
If you’re one to enjoy sites without getting involved, feast your eyes on a lot of exhibits strategically placed at the College and the Integrated School grounds. Some tackle history, some fire loyalty and some celebrate accomplishments. Enjoy skills competitions? The HRM Flair Tending Competition, Product Making Contest and contests on debate, oratory, impromptu speaking, declamation and public speaking add an equal sense of excitement and thrill. Academic contests in the Integrated school and in each of the Colleges are also a must-go-to for alumni whiz kids and for those who wish to enjoy quiz games all over again.
For an adrenaline rush, none is best than watching the various ball games scheduled between DLSL athletes and that of other schools’. For the kids, DLSL installed Inflatables and the Safari Carousel Ride. For the young at heart, we have the familiar booths where you get jailed or married or fined or simply have more fun.

We also added a map so you can plan out how you will get where you want to be on time. Read the rest of the newsletter and get to know the teachers and staff who are already Pillars of the La Salle Lipa education. They have been around and know some good stuff about DLSL: Go ask. Also, the Best of SY ’05-’06 are the achievements, program breakthroughs and triumphs that DLSL further adds to its cap. These are more reasons to say, “Ang sarap maging Lasalyanong Lipeño!”
Finally, just as on your birthdays where you invite friends, relatives and loved ones to come along, eat and join the fun in your birthday bash, DLSL invites you, its other stakeholders and its alumni (we’re terribly missing you!) on its 44th Foundation Week. We hope you’ll come to see what is has become and what it still promises to become as DLSL goes Forty-Fourward and Beyond!
