DLSL took part in the Best of Batangas Exhibit held last April 21 and 22 at SM City Batangas. This two-day event was also participated by various groups in different line of work such as travel, food, recreation, education and real estate. Some of the companies that joined are Montenegro Travel and Tours, Starlite Transit Incorporated, Lima City Hotel, Rock’s Café, Batangas Country Club, Days Hotel, La Leona Resort, Verde Island Resort, University of Batangas, Lyceum College, AMA, STI, ACLC, Tutor Time, Canyon Woods, Starville Homes, Campo Verde, Plantacion Meridienne, SM Home World, Batangas Tourism, Shepherd Wedding Planner, and Batangas CATV.

The Marketing Communications Department Team headed by Ms. Lorna Achico set up the exhibit which featured DLSL’s marketing campaign over the years. These included taglines such as “Live the Future Now!”, “Believe…”, “La Salle ka na… sa Lipa ha…!”, and “Education Beyond”. A multi-media presentation which shows the glorious past of the institution, the rise of new buildings, state-of-the art facilities and basically everything that the school has to offer was also put on view. Part of the multi-media presentation was the evolution of the school logo, montage of pictures showing classroom interactions, cultural presentations and sports activities of students. Lastly, there was also a showcase of the school’s new web interface. Pamphlets on medical transcription course and culinary arts, the latest addition to the various courses that the school offers, were also handed out.

Talented students from DLSL amused the guests during the program with performances from DLSL’s Dance Zone, Animo Kid Idol Champion, Ericka Sonza and incoming Level IV Micah Matibag.

The Best of Batangas Exhibit was indeed a success for its sponsors and participants, but more for DLSL in sharing to future clients what it takes to become a remarkable institution.
