In line with the initiative to conduct IT-based training for faculty and staff, the ISD conducted a two-day refresher training for IS computer faculty on Database Fundamentals and MS Access last 17,18 and 22 May 2006 at the St. La Salle Building. The sessions were conducted by Mr. Gil Panganiban, DLSL’s Software Administrator and Mr. Florentino Magsino, Jr., ISD Manager.
Part of the ISD’s strategic plans is to intensify technical training for DLSL employees. The objective is to ensure that the institution is abreast with trends in software, technology, troubleshooting and even computing ergonomics. The series of ISD facilitated trainings shall be done in coordination with faculty from the IS Computer Department, CITE, FHR and Services Directorate staff.. More of such trainings shall be held in the months to come.
