Several movements in the Administrative Services Division took place in May 2006. First, the Central Purchasing Department (CPD), formerly under the Services Directorate, has been transferred to the Finance & Human Resource Deparment. Mr. Jovencio Torres was appointed CPD Manager effective 15 May.
The Web Development Office, formerly under the Marketing Communications Department (MCD), was transferred to the Information Systems Department (ISD). The Web Development Officer, Mr. Jerwin Lasin, now reports to ISD Manager Mr. Florentino Magsino. Moving with Lasin effective 22 May was former MCD Clerk Mr. Jonathan Parungao, now Clerk of the ISD.
Meanwhile, the SENTRUM House Office was abolished and the Reservations Office put in its place. The new office, occupied by Mr. Alfredo Cubilla, was placed under the MCD in recognition of its frontline function. The office books internal and external reservations for the SENTRUM, the Centennial Sports Plaza, the Outdoor Sports Plaza (including the field), the Tennis Centre, the Sen. Jose W. Diokno Auditorium and the Mabini Building Mini-Auditorium.
