Keyboard equivalent: N

De La Salle Lipa President Br. Manuel Pajarillo FSC met the members of his council for the first time this schoolyear last 13 July 2006 at the Yellow Conference Room of the Sen. Jose W. Diokno Building. Joining the President were Executive Vice-President Mr. Juan Lozano and Vice-President for Administration Mr. Rex Torrecampo, two carryovers from last year's top administration; and the newly appointed Vice-President for Academics & Research, Dr. Corazon Abansi.

This was also the first council meeting presided over by Pajarillo since his installation last month as President of De La Salle University - Dasmariņas and De La Salle Health Sciences Campus.

During the marathon meeting, Pajarillo discussed with the members of the council issues pertaining to the school's operations. Among other things, discussed were the status of endowment funds for research, a ten-year physical development plan for the school, the holding of next year's foundation week celebrations, the improvement of the SENTRUM's sound system and the setting up of an environmentally friendly waste disposal system for the school.

Pajarillo also received reports from the two VP's pertaining to school operations, in particular those detailing enrolment in the College and the Integrated School, an update on the ongoing construction of the Mabini Building, a statistical summary of newly-hired employees and on-going projects in information technology.

The President's Council meetings are held every second Thursday of the month, with the next one scheduled to be held on the tenth of August.
