HRD Conducts Orientation 101 to Newly Hired Employees

Human Resource Department conducted Orientation 101 to the newly hired employees last May 16, 2006 at Sen. Jose Diokno Boardroom. This was participated by 18 newly hired employees including the new brothers in the institution namely Br. Jun Estrellas, FSC and and Br. Allan Buenavista, FSC.

The said activity was facilitated by Ms. Dona Orcena. She welcomed the group to the Lasallian community and informed them that Orientation 101 was just the first among the orientation programs that their office will be conducting.

Representatives from different offices were invited to become part of the program. Ms. Violy Andaleon of ILFO led the prayer service. She also discussed the Life of St. John Baptist De La Salle, Mission Statement, Core Values, and the services of their office. Mr. Hector Gloria discussed about the Presidential Management Office, Br, Jun Estrellas, FSC about the Brother’s Community, Engr. Cid Frio for the General Services Department, Mr. Ruben Frane for the Information System Department, Ms. Raquel Inciong for Marketing and Communication, and Mr. Derrick Awatin for the FRD.

The afternoon session was focused on HRD . The key personnel in the institution and the whole HRD staff were introduced. Ms. Ces Quigley, the HRD Manager together with other HRD staff discussed the employment policies & conditions, the benefits and privileges as well as the standard operating procedures.

The activity ended with the awarding of certificate of attendance, evaluation of the program and group picture taking.
