The Integrated School, spearheaded by the Student Services Office, welcomes new students and parents of School Year 2006 – 2007 at the SENTRUM.
The parents’ orientation on June 8 was carried out to discuss matters concerning school policies, regulations and the organizational structure of the school. Ms. Tess Latay, Assistant Principal of the SLC, officially welcome all the parents followed by an inspirational message from Bro. Manuel R. Pajarillo. Talk about Lasallian virtue was presented by Br. Allan Buenavista and concerns on spirituality were provided by the school chaplain, Fr. Nonie Dolor. The new vision and mission was formally introduced by Mrs. Violeta Ramirez. Parents were also given the chance to share their concerns in an open forum before the end of the activity.
New students had their turn on June 9 for their orientation activity. Based on registrar’s records, there were around 289 new students and transferees from the PLC and 373 new breeds from the JLC, 86% of which or 322 were in Level 7. The SLC, on the other hand, had 31 transferees.
On June 13, during the opening of classes, 569 Level 7 students gathered at the SENTRUM for their first general assembly to orient them on school policies, and at the same time, to officially welcome new students. Approximately 43% of the attendees were formerly Level 6 students of the IS. Class orientation immediately followed in their respective classrooms.
