A delagation from DLSL's Internet service provider Pacific Internet, Inc. visited the school on 16 June 2006 for a courtesy call on school administrators.

The group was led by Mr. Sonny P. Divina, VP for Sales and Marketing. Also in the party were Mr. Gerald Milan, Business Manager; and Customer Relations Managers Ms. Katherine Tagudin and Ms. Kathrina Mata.

The visitors were received at the Sen. Jose Diokno Conference Room by DLSL Executive Vice-President Mr. Juan Lozano and VP for Administration Mr. Rex Torrecampo. Also present were Information Systems Manager Mr. Florentino Magsino and Network Administrator Mr. Allan Lucero.

The visitors were on a swingaround to connect more with their valued clients, telling their hosts that the school was now among their top 20 accounts. As such, the school's service level has been upgraded from "gold" to "platinum." In service terms, the school can expect response from Pacific "within the hour."

The news was welcomed by the school administrators, who have set among their priorities top-class Internet connectivity for its students. This schoolyear, DLSL added one more E1 leased line to its former bandwidth, bringing the school's total capacity to 6 mbps. Even when all the 600 computers connected to the Internet are performing transactions, the total bandwidth allotment per PC remains at a staggering 100 kpbs. This average bandwidth ranks among the highest in the country and the speed of the school's connection has been praised by some of the institution's foreign visitors.
