MARCH 2005
  1. Exhibition Football Game
    The DLSL secondary football team played an exhibition match against Don Bosco of Canlubang on 18 March at the DLSL Football Field.
  2. PLC Recognition Rites
    Recognition rites for the Primary Learning Community were held on 18 March at the Br. Henry Virgil Memorial Gym.
  3. ABS-CBN Visit
    Staff of the Unified School’ and Tertiary School’s Learning Resource Centers visited the facilities of ABS-CBN’s Central Library and Archives on 15 March.
  4. Gawad Sining
    The Tertiary School’s First Gawad Sining ceremonies were held on 15 March at the Chez Avenir. DLSL President Br. Manuel Pajarillo FSC and Tertiary School Dean Mr. Pablito Sarmiento were present to grace the occasion.
  5. Softball Finals
    DLSL played Poveda School in the Finals of the Kids’ Tournament of Champions Softball Competition on 13 March at the Ayala Alabang Country Club.
  6. Poetry Reading Session
    A Poetry Reading session carrying the theme “Ang Naughty Mo Naman...” was sponsored by the Arts Coordinator’s Office on 11 March at the Hall of Lasallian Saints.
  7. JLC CSYA Rites
    Class Spirit of the Year Awards ceremonies for the Junior Learning Community of the Unified School were held on 11 March at the SENTRUM.
  8. PLC Classroom Exhibits
    Classroom exhibits were held on 11 March as part of the Unified Schoo’s Primary Learning Community Open House.
  9. PLC Open House
    The opening program for the Unified School PLC Open House was held on 11 March at the SENTRUM.
  10. Level 8 & 9 CSYA
    Class Spirit of the Year (CSYA) Rites for Levels 8 & 9 of the Unified School were held on 10 March at the SENTRUM.
  11. Open House Final Rehearsals
    Final Rehearsals for the Unified School PLC Open House were held on 9 March at the SENTRUM.
  12. March 2005 BOT Meeting
    The March 2005 quarterly meeting of the DLSL Board of Trustees was held on 9 March at the Mocha Conference Room of the MTDC Building.
  13. Job Fair
    A Job Fair was sponsored by the Tertiary School’s Placement Office at the College Lobby on 8 March.
  14. Cooking Demonstration
    A cooking demonstration by Chef Jundy Guenco was sponsored by the BSHRM department for its majors on 8 March at the Centennial Sports Plaza.
  15. Gawad Lasalyano
    The Gawad Lasalyano rites were held on 8 March at the Br. Henry Virgil Memorial Gymnasium. The award is an annual project of the Tertiary School’s Student Council.
  16. Graduating Scholars
    Graduating scholars of the Tertiary School attended a seminar facilitated by the ILFO and LAMP on 7 March at the Mocha Conference Room of the MTDC Building.
  17. Rotary Club Visitors
    American Rotary Club members visited DLSL on 7 March and were received by Vice-President Mr. Juan Lozano. They were later given a tour of the campus by PRO Mrs. Dfezie Tipan and HRD Manager Mr. Arnold Capuloy.
  18. Voices in Concert
    The De La Salle Voices’ Farewell Concert before the members depart for the April European Tour was held on 4 March at the SENTRUM.
  19. Batch 1979 Donation
    The High School Class of 1979 made a donation to help the alma mater’s scholarship efforts on 1 March at the Mocha Conference Room of the MTDC Building. The donation was received by DLSL Vice-President Mr. Juan Lozano.
FEBRUARY 2005
  1. WVL Finals
    The finals of the Women’s Volleyball League (WVL) were played on 27 February at San Beda College - Alabang.
  2. Sayaw Filipinas
    The 7th Annual Sayaw Filipinas, the showpiece event of DLSL’s celebration of Arts Month, was held on 25 February at the SENTRUM.
  3. IESD Lasallian Hour
    The March IESD Lasallian Hour was held on 24 February at the IES Office, with Br. Ceci Hojilla FSC as the guest speaker.
  4. NCAA-South Football Finals
    The NCAA-South Football Finals between Don Bosco - Mandaluyong and DLSL were played on 23 February at the DLSL Football Field.
  5. NCAA-South Men’s Volleyball Finals
    The NCAA-South Men’s Volleyball Finals between San Beda College - Mendiola and DLSL were played on 22 February at the SENTRUM.
  6. NCAA-South Finals
    The swimming and lawn tennis finals of the 2004-2005 NCAA-South season were hosted by San Beda College - Alabang on 20 February.
  7. Engineering Week Exhibition
    Computer Engineering students staged an exhibition at the College Lobby beginning 17 February as part of Computer Engineering Week.
  8. Flairtending Competition
    A Flairtending Competition was held on 17 February at the Centennial Sports Plaza was part of the celebration of Hotel & Restaurant Management Week.
  9. Table Setting Competition
    A Table-Setting Competition was held on 16 February at the Centennial Sports Plaza as part of the celebration of Hotel & Restaurant Management Week.
  10. Visit of Nursing Administrators
    Br. Brendan Madden FSC, Director of the Career Center of the St. Mary’s College of California, accompanied American Nursing Adminstrators Arlene Sargent and Abby Heydman on an official visit to DLSL to meet with school and Nursing Administrators on 13-16 February.
  11. Art Exhibition
    A one-woman exhibition featuring the works of IES staffer Ms. Lorna Achico opened at the Silid Batangas of the SENTRUM on 15 February.
  12. Annual Stampede
    The first annual stampede for faculty & staff of the institution was held as the culminating activity of the school fair on 12 February at the back of the SENTRUM.
  13. PLC Dance Festival
    The annual Primary Learning Community Dance Festival was held on 12 February at the SENTRUM as part of the foundation anniversary celebrations.
  14. Volleyball Exhibition
    An exhibition volleyball match between DLSU - Manila and the DLS College of St. Benilde was held on 11 February at the SENTRUM as part of the Foundation Anniversary Celebrations.
  15. Animo Teen Idol
    The finals of the Animo Teen Idol Competition were held at the SENTRUM on 11 February as part of the Foundation Anniversary Celebrations.
  16. Flairtending Competition
    A flairtending competition for BSHRM students was held on 11 February at the Centennial Sports Plaza as part of the Foundation Anniversary Celebrations.
  17. Product Making Contest
    A Product Making Contest for college students was held on 11 February as part of the 2005 Foundation Anniversary Celebrations.
  18. Kapatiran
    A “Kapatiran” activity between Level 6 students of the Unified School and students from the Paninsinging Elementary School was held in the morning of 11 February as part of the 2005 Foundation Week Celebrations.
  19. Car Show
    A Car Show was one of the main attractions of the 2005 De La Salle Lipa fair, held at the Tertiary School Parking Area.
  20. Oratorical Competition
    An inter-school oratorical competition was held at the Tertiary School Learning Resource Center on 10 February as part of the 2005 Foundation Anniversary Celebrations.

  22. Inner Voices
    Inner Voices, a celebration of Lasallian song and dance, was staged at the SENTRUM on 10 February as part of the DLSL Fair 2005.
  23. ADHD
    The Unified School Guidance Office sponsored an ADHD seminar for parents on 10 February at the Br. Henry Virgil Memorial Gym as part of the Foundation Week Celebrations.
  24. Research Forum
    A research forum for the Tertiary School faculty was held on 10 February at the AVR 1 of the Unified School Building as part of the Foundation Week Celebrations.
  25. Fair Opening
    Simple ceremonies to formally open the 2005 DLSL fair were held on 10 February at the Outdoor Sports Complex.
  26. Photo Exhibition
    A photo exhibition in line with the foundation week celebrations was held at the MTDC Lobby beginning 9 February.
  27. Course Exhibits
    The Tertiary School sponsored an exhibition of its different academic programs beginning on 9 February at the College Lobby.
  28. BEAM Seminar Marathon
    Students of the Business, Economics, Accountancy & Management (BEAM) attended a series of seminars at the MTDC Auditorium on 9 February.
  29. Inter-School Quiz III
    The third and final quiz of Pautakan, this time for students of the tertiary level, was held at the SENTRUM on 9 February.
  30. Inter-School Quiz II
    The second quiz sponsored by Pautakan, this time for private secondary schools, was held at the SENTRUM in the afternoon of 8 February.
  31. Endowment Fund
    The Adela Salas Endowment Fund was formally established in simple rites held at the Mocha Conference Room of the MTDC Building on 8 February.
  32. Faculty & Staff Day
    The Tertiary School’s Faculty & Staff Day was held on 8 February at the Centennial Sports Plaza.
  33. Inter-School Quiz
    Pautakan, a student organization of the Tertiary School, hosted an inter-school quiz for public secondary schools in the morning of 8 February at the SENTRUM. The activity was part of the foundation anniversary celebrations.
  34. Foundation Week
    The formal opening of the 2005 Foundation Week Celebrations was held on 7 February at the SENTRUM. This year's celebrations, entitled “Generation 43: Fuel the Next”, is hosted by the Tertiary School Division.
  35. Science Building Visit
    Staff of the IESD toured the construction site of the College Science Building with Vice-President Mr. Juan Lozano and Engr. Isidro Frio on 4 February.
  36. Film Development Workshop
    AB Communication students attended the second of a series of film development workshops on 3 February at the Unified School Building's Audio-Visual Room 1.
  37. Arts Month Opening
    An installation art exhibition formally opened the 2005 Arts Month Celebration on 1 February at the SENTRUM garden.
JANUARY 2005
  1. Marketing Week
    The Tertiary School opened Marketing Week and an accompanying exhibit on 31 January at the College Lobby.
  2. Lasallian Eco-Camp
    The 2005 Luzon Lasallian Eco-Camp was hosted by De La Salle Lipa at the Makiling Jamboree Site on 28-30 January.
  3. Lasallian Hour
    Lipa Brothers' Community Director Br. Pedro Victor Maralit FSC was the guest speaker of the January Lasallian Hour of the IES Division on 28 January at the IES Office.
  4. Signing Ceremonies
    DLSL signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Global Implementation Services (GIS) on 27 January at the MTDC Building for the latter to provide the school with Singapore's Jade Lite Corporation's Student Management System.
  5. First Holy Communion
    Level III students of the Unified School received First Holy Communion on 26 January at the SENTRUM.
  6. Business Writing Seminar
    DLSL hosted a seminar on Business Writing, given by Ms. Ella Kristina Domingo of the Cultural Office, for the Network of CALABARZON Educational Institutions on 25 January at the Mocha Conference Room of the MTDC Building.
  7. Research Forum
    The Tertiary School Research Director's Office had a presentation of research proposals for the coming Research Forum on 25 January at the MTDC Building.
  8. Project K
    A visiting team from the Autonomous Region of Mindanao visited DLSL on 24 January to discuss the implementation of Project “K”. The group was received by Dr. Corazon Abansi of the Graduate School, the implementing arm of the project.
  9. FSC Opening
    The fifth season of the Friendship & Solidarity Cup opened on 22 January at the SENTRUM with 7 schools participating.
  10. AMKOR Visitors
    Personnel of Amkor Corporation visited DLSL on 19 January to discuss on the job training for DLSL students with their counterparts from the Tertiary School.
  11. NOCEI Meeting
    The January 2005 meeting of the NOCEI Board of Trustees was hosted by the University of the Philippines at Los Baños on 17 January.
  12. Research Committee
    The Research Committee meeting of the Network of CALABARZON Educational Institutions (NOCEI) was hosted by DLSL at the Yellow Conference Room of the MTDC Building on 14 January.
  13. Ceremonial Launch
    The ceremonial launch of Pacific Internet's provision of 2 E1 connections to the Internet for DLSL was held on 13 January at the College Lobby.
  14. One-Man Exhibition
    School artist Rogelio Basco staged a one-man visual arts exhibition at the Silid Batangas of the SENTRUM beginning on 12 January.
  15. NOCEI Basic Ed Meeting
    The Basic Education meeting for NOCEI member schools was held on 11 January at the Yellow Conference Room of the MTDC Building.
  16. DLSL Band in Concert
    The Unified School's DLSL Band gave a concert at the SENTRUM on 10 January.
  17. Animo Teen Idol
    The Animo Teen Idol competition for the Unified School was held on 10 January at the Br. Henry Virgil Memorial Gymnasium.
  18. Dance Idol
    Danz Zone of the Unified School won the Dance Idol competition at the UP Diliman campus on 8 January.
  19. Lasallian Eco-Camp
    The Pre-camp of the Lasallian Eco-Camp, which is due to be hosted by DLSL this month, was held at the DLSU - Manila Bio-Research Center in Lian, Batangas on 8 January.
DECEMBER 2004
  1. Australian Visit
    Tertiary School faculty member Ms. Alicia Botardo visited Australia to work on some of the school's international linkages.
  2. General Homecoming
    The DLSLAAI General Alumni Homecoming was hosted by the High School Class of 1979 on 30 December.
  3. Boracay Visit
    DLSL President Br. Manuel Pajarillo FSC visited BSHRM students doing their internship in a Boracay establishment on 21 December.
  4. IESD Christmas Party
    Staff of the IES Division celebrated Christmas at their office with a party held in the evening of 17 December.
  5. Employees’ Christmas Party
    The annual Christmas party for employees was held on 17 December at the SENTRUM.
  6. Rummage Sale
    The Tertiary School's Theology Department sponsored a rummage sale for neighboring indigent communities on 15 December at the SENTRUM.
  7. Party for Maintenance Assistants
    The school's Maintenance Assistants were treated to a Christmas Party at the Food Palace on 15 December.
  8. LIDICSA Youth Festival
    The LIDICSA Youth Festival was hosted by DLSL at the SENTRUM for the third straight year on 10 December.
  9. PRISAA Finals
    The last day of competitions for the major events of the 2004 Batangas PRISAA were played on 9 December at the SENTRUM.
  10. ABCom Workshop
    AB Communication students underwent a workshop with Ms. Maricar Donato on 9 December at the Mocha Conference Room of the MTDC Building.
  11. Memorabilia Exhibition
    A memorabilia exhibition entitled “And Never Shall We Fail...,” a tribute to the school’s sporting heroes, opened on 9 December at Silid Batangas. The exhibition was sponsored by the DLSL Archives.
  12. PRISAA Opening
    The opening ceremonies of the 2004 Batangas PRISAA were held at the SENTRUM on 6 December.
  13. Lasallian Hour
    The December 2004 Lasallian Hour of the IES Division was held in the company of the De La Salle novices on 7 December at the novitiate.
  14. BOT Meeting
    The December 2004 Board of Trustees meeting was held on 1 December at the Mocha Conference Room of the MTDC Building. The DLSL Board welcomed new members Sr. Corazon Manalo and Dr. Carmelita Quebengco.
NOVEMBER 2004
  1. Makabayan Award
    The External Committee of the Makabayan Award selected the winning nominee for recommendation to the BOT during a special meeting held on 26 November.
  2. Poetry Reading
    The Art Coordinator’s Office sponsored a poetry reading session at the Hall of Lasallian Saints on 26 November. The session’s theme was “To the Future...”
  3. Testimonial Lunch
    The Board of Trustees tendered a testimonial luncheon in honor of outgoing member Mr. Rolando Leyesa on 23 November at the Club Malarayat in Lipa City.
  4. LET Testimonial
    The Education Department sponsored a Testimonial Dinner for passers of the 2004 Licensure Exams for Teacher (LET) on 22 November at the Chez Avenir.
  5. Nursing Week
    The Tertiary School’s Nursing Department sponsored a Nursing Week Exhibition at the College Lobby from 22 to 27 November.
  6. Green Prospects
    The Marketing & Promotions Office and the Tertiary School Admissions Office sponsored a college recruitment campaign entitled “Green Prospects” involving several feeder high schools in November.
  7. NOCEI Meeting
    DLSL President Br. Manuel Pajarillo presided over the 22 November meeting of the Network of CALABARZON Educational Institutions, hosted by the Batangas State University.
  8. Stallion Kick-off
    A program to kick off the Stallion 2004 Yearbook Drive of the Unified School was held on 19 November at the SENTRUM.
  9. Guidance Seminar
    A seminar on adolescent sexuality sponsored by the Unified School Guidance Office for Level 9 students was held on 19 November at the Br. Henry Virgil Memorial Gym.
  10. Football Exhibition
    The foreign novices at the DLS Novitiate played a friendly exhibition match against a High School and College varsity selection on 18 November at the DLSL field.
  11. Division Meet Set B
    Set B of pictures taken during the Lipa City Division Athletic Meet, held at DLSL and other venues on 16-19 November.

  13. MOA Signing
    DLSL signed a MOA with PBCom on 12 November at the Chez Avenir for the benefit of students who are children of overseas workers.
  14. Visit of Veranda House Owners
    Owners of the Veranda House Hotel in Masachussetts, where selected DLSL BSHRM students hold their internship, visited DLSL on 12 November.
  15. HRM Students Visit Br. Mawel
    BSHRM students who underwent internship at the Veranda Hotel in Nantucket Island in Massachusetts called on Br. Manuel Pajarillo FSC after their return from the United States.
  16. One-Man Exhibit
    Arts Coordinator Mr. Rogelio Basco staged a one-man art exhibition at the Insular Life Building in Alabang starting on 5 November. The ribbon-cutting ceremonies were attended the Austrian Ambassador and Manila Archbishop Gaudencio Rosales.
OCTOBER 2004
  1. NAMCYA Finals
    Maria Carmelie Sumcad of the Unified School qualified for the National Finals of the National Music Competition for Young Artists (NAMCYA) in the wind category during the regional finals held on 20 October in Balayan, Batangas.
  2. Signing Ceremonies
    Signing ceremonies between DLSL and its new Internet Provider, Pacific Internet, were held on 18 October at the Yellow Conference Room of the MTDC Building.
SEPTEMBER 2004
  1. Topnotcher’s Celebration
    Administrators and faculty of the Tertiary School celebrated the feat of faculty member Ryan Anthony Umali in topping the licensure examination for Electrical Engineers with a small get-together at the Science laboratory on 28 September.
  2. Courtesy Call
    Members of the school’s taekwondo varsity team who won 6 medals in the recently concluded national interschools finals paid DLSL President Br. Manuel Pajarillo FSC a courtesy call on 22 September at the President’s Office.
  3. NCAA-South Opening
    The 6th season of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) – South opened at the SENTRUM on 13 September. De La Salle Lipa is host of this year’s tournaments.
  4. Pep Rally
    The annual Pep Rally was held on 1 September at the SENTRUM to generate interest and support for the DLSL Greens before the start of the news sporting season.
AUGUST 2004
  1. Youth Sexuality
    Mr. Hermogenes Panganiban, Mrs. Karolyn Andal and Mr. Edwin Castillote were the guests of a forum entitled “Youth Talk It Over: The Human Sexuality,” which was sponsored by the Tertiary School Guidance Office on 20 August at the MTDC Auditorium.
  2. Chairs Donation
    The Tertiary School Education Department, with Dr. Norma Blanco, Ms. Alicia Botardo and Mr. Henson Ola participating, donated chairs and tables to the Day Care Center of the Abundio Torre Elementary School on 18 August.
  3. Environment Center
    The Orientation Seminar for the Center for the Environment was held on 17 August at the Mocha Conference Room of the MTDC Building.
  4. PLC Assembly
    The Primary Learning Community assembly on 16 August at the Br. Henry Virgil Memorial Gymnasium carried a Filipiniana theme in celebration of the Buwan ng Wika.
  5. Bulik Workshop
    Bulik, the Unified School student paper, sponsored a news writing workshop on 16 August at the AVR 1.
  6. Sabayang Bigkas Competition
    A Sabayang Bigkas Competition for Level 9 classes of the Unified School was held on 16 August at the Br. Henry Virgil Memorial Gym.
  7. TSFA Elections
    The Tertiary School Faculty Association held its annual general assembly and elections on 13 August at the Fine Dining Restaurant.
  8. Faculty & Staff Day
    The traditional faculty & staff day for the Unified School was held on 10 August, with a seminar scheduled in the morning and a badminton competition held in the afternoon.
  9. SCB Projects
    The Unified School’s Student Coordinating Board (SCB) launched the Zero Violation and Clean As You Go Campaigns on 9 August at the Br. Henry Virgil Memorial Gymnasium.
  10. Opening of Basco Exhibit
    La Salle Greenhills staged an art exhibition featuring the works of DLSL School Artist Rogger Basco during the month of August. The opening, held on 2 August, was attended by staff of the IESD and selected Danz Zone members.
JULY 2004
  1. Forum on Women
    “Babae... Sino Ka?,” a forum on women’s issues, was jointly sponsored by the Tertiary School Guidance Office and the Cultural Office on 31 July at the MTDC Auditorium.
  2. Unified School Outreach
    Students of the Unified School participated in an outreach program entitled “Pagtuturo ng Pagbasa at Pagsulat ng Bagong Alfabetong Pilipino” on 30 July in a Care Center in Sitio Fatima, Lipa City.
  3. Design Seminar
    Publications Officer Ms. Lorna Achico gave a seminar on Design Principles to office staffers on 30 July at the Mocha Conference Room of the MTDC Building.
  4. DLS Voices in Concert
    The De La Salle Voices gave their first concert of the years on 30 July at the MTDC Auditorium.
  5. Lasallian Hour
    The Institutional & External Services Division’s first Lasallian Hour for Schoolyear 2004-05 was held on 30 July at the IESD Office, with DLSL President Br. Manuel Pajarillo FSC as the invited speaker.
  6. Natural Gas Lecture
    The Public Relations Office, in collaboration with the Science Departments of the Tertiary and Unified School Divisions as well as the PNOC, sponsored a lecture on Natural Gas Fuel Technology on 30 July at the Br. Henry Virgil Memorial Gymnasium.
  7. PLC Building Blessing
    The new Primary Learning Community Building was blessed by visiting Lipa Archbishop Ramon Arguelles on 30 July. The affair was attended by top and middle administrators, faculty, staff and students of the institution.
  8. Archbishop’s Mass
    New Lipa Archbishop Ramon Arguelles celebrated his first mass with the DLSL community on 30 July at the Br. Virgil Memorial Gymnasium.
  9. Special Education Meeting
    Mr. Hector Gloria of the Development Office, Mr. Henson Ola of the Tertiary School and Mr. Rey Villegas of the Hilario Learning Community attended a meeting of the Federation of Lasallian Institution’s Commission on Special Education for the Disadvantaged on 29 July at the Yellow Conference Room of the MTDC Building.
  10. Basura Mo Art Ko
    The Unified School launched a project entitled “Basura Mo Art Ko” on 29 July at the AVR 1.
  11. Theology Lecture
    The Tertiary School’s Theology Department sponsored a lecture on Religious Pluralism by visiting Professor Emeritus Georges de Schrijver, S.J. of the Belgian University Louvaine on 28 July at the MTDC Auditorium.
  12. Peace Conference
    The Institutional Lasallian Family Office hosted a conference on the topic of “Prospects of Peace After the 2004 Elections” on 28 July at the Br. Henry Virgil Memorial Gymnasium.
  13. Courtesy Call
    Members of the President’s Council paid a courtesy call on new Lipa Archbishop Ramon Arguelles on 28 July at the Archbishop’s Residence.
  14. Faculty Research Proposals
    Faculty research proposals were presented before a special council on 23 July at the Mocha Conference Room of the MTDC Building. The event was organized by the Tertiary School’s Research Office.
  15. Job Fair
    The Tertiary School’s Placement Office organized a job fair for alumni on 23 July at the MTDC Auditorium, with SM Batangas and E-Telecare as the companies present for recruitment.
  16. Visitors from DLSU-Manado
    Visitors from DLSU - Manado, led for former DLSL Principal Br. Gene Tianco FSC, were received by DLSL President Br. Manuel Pajarillo FSC in his office and then taken on a tour of the campus by IES Staff.
  17. FSLE Meeting
    A meeting to discuss concerns of the Foundation for Sharing Lasallian Education was held on 22 July at the Yellow Conference Room of the MTDC Building.
  18. ANAK Seminar
    ANAK, a support group for children of overseas workers organized by the Tertiary School Guidance Office, sponsored a seminar for children of overseas workers from different schools on 22 July at the MTDC Auditorium.
  19. Environment Meeting
    The Social Concerns Office sponsored a meeting on the environment on 21 July at the Mocha Conference Room of the MTDC Building. The meeting was attended by representatives from various sectors.
  20. Level X Recruitment
    College recruitment at the Level 10 of the Unified School started on 20 July. The recruitment was jointly undertaken by the Marketing & Promotions Office and the Tertiary School.
  21. Launching of IESD Projects

  22. American Brothers’ Visit
    Brothers from the De La Salle District of San Francisco in the United States visited DLSL on 15 July and were hosted by the DLSL Brothers’ Community. The visitors were taken on a tour of the campus by staff of the IESD.
  23. Computer Science Orientation
    An orientation seminar regarding on-the-job training was sponsored by the Computer Science Department for its majors on 15 July at the MTDC Auditorium.
  24. French Food Tasting
    A sampling of French food was among the final activities of the celebration of France Week on Campus. The food tasting activity was held on 15 July at the SENTRUM lobby.
  25. First President’s Council Meeting
    DLSL President Br. Manuel Pajarillo FSC presided over the first President’s Council meeting held on 15 July at the Yellow Conference Room of the MTDC Building.
  26. French Film Showing
    A French feature film entitled “Le Fabuleux Destin D’Amelie Poulsin” was shown to Tertiary School and Unified School students on 14 July at the MTDC Auditorium as part of the school’s France Week Celebrations.

    A cooking competition entitled Cook With Mom and Dad for Level 6 students was held on 14 July at the Br. Henry Virgil Memorial Gymnasium as part of the Unified School’s Nutrition Month Celebrations.
  28. Documentary Film Showing
    A documentary film on France was viewed by Tertiary School and Unified School students on 13 July at the MTDC Auditorium. The activity was part of the school’s France Week Celebrations.
  29. Studying in France
    Louis Thevenin and Louisa Young of the French Embassy spoke to students of the Unified School and Tertiary School about studying in France on 13 July at the MTDC Auditorium.
  30. Lecture on French Culture
    Julia Lachet of Alliance Française gave a lecture on French culture and the French language on 12 July at the MTDC Auditorium. The lecture was attended by students of both the Unified and Tertiary School Divisions.
  31. French Week
    Semaine Française (French Week) opened on 12 July at the SENTRUM, with Emmanuel Gorin and Louis Thevenin of the French Embassy and Julia Lachet of Alliance Française as special guests.
  32. JPIA Exhibit
    The DLSL Chapter of the Junior Philippines Institute of Accountants (JPIA) staged an exhibit at the MTDC Lobby on 7 July as part of the Tertiary School’s Accountancy Month Celebrations.
  33. Anti-Virus Seminar
    Staff of the Information Systems Department sponsored an Anti-Virus Seminar on 7 July at the Mocha Conference Room of the MTDC Building.
  34. NCAA Meeting
    The NCAA-South’s Management Committee held a meeting at DLSL’s MTDC Board Room on 6 July. DLSL was represented by Mr. Roy Dimaculangan and Mr. Ryan Paul Puertollano of the Athletics Office.
  35. Fruit & Vegetable Fair

  36. New Scholars
    New Scholars of the St. Br. Jaime Hilario Learning Community were presented to DLSL President Br. Manuel Pajarillo FSC on 2 July at the Chez Avenir.
  37. Level 8 Cookfest
    Level 8 students participated in a cooking festival on 1 July at the Br. Henry Virgil Memorial Gymnasium. The festival was part of the Unified School’s celebration of Nutrition Month.

  4. Food Center Inauguration
    The new food center at the Chezrer – located at the ground floor of the school hotel – was inaugurated on 21 June, with top school administrators in attendance.
