De La Salle Lipa (DLSL) continues rolling out its Digital Campus initiatives by installing 160 wireless access points in several campus locations. They can already be found in various Integrated School (IS) classrooms and common areas – from the Hall of Lasallian Saints (HLS), Brother Benilde (BB), Brother Miguel (BM), Claro M Recto (CMR), Jose Rizal – Noli (JRN), to the Jose Rizal – Fili (JRF) Buildings. This is to facilitate blended learning, allowing students and Lasallian partners to access the Canvas learning management system (LMS) and other digital learning platforms. Access points (APs) are networking hardware devices allowing the connection of a Wi-Fi device to a wired network. APs are often connected to a router through a wired network as a standalone device.
More installations will commence the following week – from the Mabini Building (MB), College of Business, Economics, Accountancy and Management (CBEAM) Building, and other college areas.
Students can now log in their Canvas LMS account through their DLSL email address powered by Gmail. Meanwhile, faculty members may now import their respective course contents via Canvas.
