Traveller´s Club Gives to Scholars

Lipa City, Batangas – In simple turn over rights, the Integrated School Traveler´s Club gave a cash gift to Lasallian education for the benefit of the scholars through the Herencia De La Salle, the Lasallian Heritage Gift Campaign. Brother President Joaquin Martinez FSC, D. Min accepted the cash gift turned over by the club´s representatives headed by advisers Noriel Navita and Philip Anthony Rivera, Club President Erica Pentino (L9, LS-305) and Club Treasurer Jean Louise Gonzales (L8, LS 208). 

The IS Traveler´s Club champions exposure of student´s to significant places and locations in the country. For this SY 2011-2012, the club was able to bring its members to visit Religious temples, particularly Buddhist and Sikh Temples. Eco-theme parks were also in the club’s agenda and they were able to see the La Mesa Eco park, Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife, Malabon Zoo and Bio-Research. The club’s members had also visited Corregidor, Subic and museums in the past school year. 

In the coming school year, the club plans to visit and benchmark with La Salle schools from the Visayas. 

The Traveler´s Club is one of the organizations under the IS Students Activities Office that belong to the Special Interest Category. In all, there are 61 student organizations in the Integrated School.
