 The correlates that contributed to problem solving capabilities of freshmen college students who were enrolled in Algebra of De La Salle Lipa were investigated by Ms. Melanie D. Lugo, faculty member of College of Education Arts and Sciences.
Study revealed a significant relationship between the problem solving capabilities of the students in personal, cognitive and social factors. Considering the significance of Lugo´s findings, the Philippine Association of Institutions for Research published the paper in its JPAIR Multidisciplinary Journal.
JPAIR is a national peer reviewed journal that "provides a venue for scholars to publish their research findings for advocacy and utilization."
