 Bearing the theme, "Creative Solutions for Educational Problems in Asia and Beyond the Borders," the Philippine Conference on Higher Education Research sponsored a three-day conference in Pearlmont Inn Cagayan de Oro City, July 16-18.
Attended by Gina Dimaano, Research and Publications Director and Joe Macatangay, RPO Officer, the conference hosted by Liceo de Cagayan University aimed to "present best practices in research, publication and research management, train participants on ISO certification of research and enhance quality assurance of journal publication for greater acceptance in top of the line indexing companies."
Plenary sessions focused on quality assurance mechanisms for journal publications and getting listed in international journals. Paper presentations showcased researches undertakings on pedagogical strategies for students to develop high level of scientific literacy.
With the inputs from the conference, the RPO is expected to inspire DLSL faculty to produce more quality research outputs with international quality.
