THESE PROGRAMS AIM TO ATTRACT ACADEMICALLY GIFTED STUDENTS IN THEIR CONTINUED QUEST FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
by awarding tuition fee, or tuition and fees incentives upon enrolment at De La Salle Lipa. The program also encourages academically outstanding students to continuously pursue academic excellence by awarding tuition and fees or tuition incentives in recognition of their outstanding academic performance in De La Salle Lipa.
The coverage of the scholarship incentives varies on the applicant’s category. The policy on limitation of one beneficiary per family for having a brother or sister currently enrolled at De La Salle Lipa either as a paying student or as a scholarship grantee in the Integrated School or College does not apply to the academic scholarship grants program of the institution.
A. ENTRANT ACADEMIC SCHOLARS
DLSL Integrated School Grade 2 to Grade 5 top 1 completers, Grade 6 and Grade 10 top ten students are automatically given academic scholarship grants in the next grade with 100% tuition and fees discount. While, Grade 12 top 3 graduates per strand are automatically given academic scholarship grants in the College with 100% tuition and fees discount.
B. CONSISTENT ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP
DLSL Integrated School students from Grade 7 to Grade 9 who ranked first, second and third in the final quarter in each grade shall be given 100%, 75%, and 50% tuition fee discount, respectively in the next school year. DLSL College students from 1st year to 3rd year (for 4 year degree program) and from 1st year to 4th year (for 5-year degree program) who ranked first, second and third in the final average grade in each year/level are also recipients of the consistent academic scholarship grants incentives. They shall be given 100%, 75%, and 50% tuition fee discount respectively in the succeeding semester.
C. EXPANDED SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS PROGRAM
This scholarship grants program aims to increase the number of academic scholars from high performing feeder schools by providing 100% tuition and fees incentives to top 1 in the Elementary School, top 10 for Junior and Senior High School completers.
- For Grade School (Grade 1-Grade 5) applicant – student who ranked #1 in their batch at the time of application.
- For Junior High School applicant – a graduating Grade 6 student who belongs to top ten of the graduating batch at the time of application.
- For Senior High School applicant – a Grade 10 completer who belongs to top ten of the graduating batch at the time of application.
- For College applicant – a graduating Grade 12 student who belongs to the top ten of the graduating batch (per strand) at the time of application.
- Stanine 7 in all areas of the Admissions Test
D. STAR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (Incoming Junior High School and College only)
This scholarship grant is given to top 10 entrance examinees, regardless of academic ranking. They are entitled to 100% discount on tuition and fees.
Top 10 entrance examinees who took the Admissions Test from October 2018 to March 2019 regardless of academic ranking. The Institutional Admissions and Testing Office will determine the list of top 10 entrance examinees.
