1. Using the standard naming convention stated above, if the email accounts for two or more students will create duplicates, the account names shall have two digit suffixes to differentiate and to guarantee uniqueness of the account. So, for two college students with the name Belinda Burgos Aquino and Benedict Bautista Aquino, the email accounts would be:

2. For surnames with modifiers such as “De”, “Dela”, “Del” and others, the email account will follow the surname complete surname. So, for Corazon Lina De Guzman and Ricky Garcia Dela Paz, the email accounts would be:

3. Multiple or long first names like Terence Justin Leyesa Magsino and Maria Perpetua Teresa Laylo Laygo will use only the first letter of the first occurrence, like:

4. All instances of the letter Ñ and ñ have been replaced with N and n respectively. This is done to avoid compatibility issues with mail client logons.
5. Name suffixes like "Jr", "III", "IV" and so on, have been omitted.
6. For College students, the default password to use would be the student number, including the dash (“ - ”) if present. For Integrated School students, the default password is the same as the account name. It is recommended that individual password be changed upon first logon. This can be done via "Options" -> "Change Password".

Each student mail account is given 10 megabyte disk quota. The ISD reserves the right to purge the mailboxes for both servers once every semester. Each student is advised to regularly delete emails.
