The BS Computer Engineering program focuses on hardware conceptualization, design and assembly, strengthened with the utilization of Cisco networking technology and certification. Students are trained to be experts in areas of computer architecture, electrical circuits and devices, communication systems and hardware design.

Review of Differential Integral Calculus and Differential Equations. Determinants and matrices, Gamma, Bessel and legedres function; Fourier series; statistical methods and applications and applications of these for engineering problems.

Engineering Drawing 1 & 2
Drawing instruments and their uses: Freehand lettering, graphic presentation of electronic components, pictorial drawing, isometric drawing and surface development

Engineering Mechanics
Study of Motion of particles and rigid bodies, force and acceleration; work energy and momentum and impulses; analysis of frames and trusses; friction centroids and moments of inertia. Operations of coplanar and non-coplanar force systems with the body concepts of equilibrium.

Modern Physics
Study of nuclear physics, theory of relativity and quantum theory.

Basic Electronics
An introductory course in electronics which includes study of semiconductors, application in basic electronic circuits plus simple electronic circuit problems and solution.

EE Theory 1
Study on Resistance, Inductance and Capacitance, wires and cables, Ohm’s Law, Kirchoff’s Law and Network Theorems.

Computer Fundamentals and Programming
Introduction to the functional organization of computer system; problem analysis; fundamentals of algorithms; higher-level language; formulation of algorithms for problem solving.

Strength of Materials
Study of simple stresses and strain; torsion; shear and moment in beams; stresses in beams; beam deflections; restrained beams; continues beams; combine stresses; columns, revited, bolted and welded connections.

Discrete Math
A brief introduction on elementary probability; study of set theory, relations, function trees, digraph; also included are topic on differential equation and transforms.

Engineering Statistics and Probabilities
Introduction to statistical inference and its application in engineering. Basic concepts, probability distributions, probability theory, random variable, moments, characteristic functions, inpedence, poission and guassican distribution.

Thermodynamics
A study of properties of gases, thermochemical reaction of fuels in power plants, laws of thermodynamics and the power cycles of gases including compressed air.

Introduction to Computer Programming
An introductory study in programming using C/Turbo C. The format of C/Turbo C program, elementary data types, structured programming techniques, functions are presented with emphasis in problem solving skills and structure.

Computer Fundamentals and Programming II
Introduced a widely used computer programming languages as a problem solving tool. Topics include planning, designing, coding, debugging, implementing and documenting programs. Special emphasis is placed on the student acquiring programming skills and the knowledge of C/Turbo C or C++.
