It deals with the research process and its application to the nursing care management of clients in various settings. 3 units.
Community Health Development
Focuses on the in-depth discussion of the principles, approaches, strategies and processes to community health development. Equips the students with the principles of health education as a core Community Organizing Participatory Action Research (COPAR) model. 3 units.
Strategies of Health Education
Principles and concepts of teaching with emphasis in teaching health. 3 units.
Basic Nutrition
Basic nutrients, their functions, sources, metabolism, physiology and interrelationships including human nutritional requirements and the importance of good nutrition to one’s health, the family and the community. 3 units. |
