The large and modern Mary Mediatrix Medical Center is 5 minutes walk away from the school. The Lipa Medix, another modern hospital, is 5 minutes drive away. There are several more hospitals in the city proper as well as clinics owned by private physicians.

More than 50 international and locally owned banks have branches in Lipa City, many of which have money transfer facilities and automatic teller machines. The locally owned United Coconut Planters’ Bank (UCPB) has an automatic teller machine (ATM) inside the DLSL campus. Peace and Order
The city of Lipa has one of the best peace and order scenarios in the country. The city gets protection from the Philippine National Police (PNP), which has its headquarters 5 minutes drive from the school. A police sub-station is 5 minutes walk away from the school.
Lodging
Many commercial lodging establishments are situated close to the school and these make bedspace, rooms or whole apartments available to students at reasonable prices.
Dining
Fast food chains like Kenny Rogers’ Roasters, Jollibee, McDonald’s, KFC, Greenwich, Chowking and many others have stores in the business district 5 minutes’ walk from school or within the city proper. The more notable restaurants include Max’s, Sawali, the Lipa Grille and Hapag Kainan. Japanese cuisine is available at the Hayato Restaurant inside the LIMA Industrial Estate. Many more restaurants and food outlets may be found in nearby Batangas City, just 30 minutes away by car.
