:: Classification of Student Applicants

NURSERY

Students whose ages range from 3 to 4 years old by June 30 of the academic year

 

KINDER

Students whose ages range from 4 to 5 years old by June 30 of the academic year

 

PREP

Students whose ages range from 5 to 6 years old by June 30 of the academic year

 

LEVEL 1 (GRADE 1)

Students whose ages range from 6 to 7 years old by June 30 of the academic year

 

LEVEL 7 (FIRST YEAR)

Students who have finished the elementary course and are eligible for promotion to high school

 

TRANSFEREES

(LEVELS / GRADES 2-6, 8-10)

a.) Students who were enrolled in other institutions and wish to enroll at De La Salle Lipa for the first time; and

 

b.) Exchange students from abroad who would like to enroll at De La Salle Lipa as part of the program of the Rotary, Jaycees and other similar organizations

 

TRANSFEREE RETURNEES

a.) Former De La Salle Lipa students who left in the course of a previous school year, enrolled in other institutions and would like to re-enroll; and

 

b.) Former De La Salle Lipa students who left as exchange program beneficiaries and would like to re-enroll

 

Note: Applicants under this category will have to go thru the same procedures for transfer applicants.

 

RETURNEES

Students of De La Salle Lipa who have left the School for valid reason/s but did not enroll in any institution prior to their re-application

 

Note: Applicants under this category may go directly to the Registrar's Office.

 

INELIGIBLE APPLICANTS

a.) Applicants of Levels 8-10 whose final average grade is lower than 80%

 

b.) Applicants whose final deportment rating is lower than B or its equivalent

 

c.) Applicants to Level 10 (4th Year High School) who haven't previously studied at De La Salle Lipa for at least 2 years

 

d.) Students with one or more subject failures in their final grades

 

e.) Students who have been dismissed by other schools or academic institutions

 

f.) Applicants who will be over 18 years old by the time they will have graduated from high school

 

g.) Former students of De La Salle Lipa who were dismissed / advised to leave due to academic or disciplinary reasons

 

 
::Basic Requirements for Application

NURSERY, KINDER, PREP & LEVEL 1

 

a.) Photocopy of birth certificate

 

b.) 2 copies of the applicant's identical 1 x 1 picture

 

c. )Properly and completely filled up application form (AT Form 2a)

 

 

LEVELS 2 - 10

 

a.) Photocopy of birth certificate

 

b.) 2 copies of the applicant's identical 1 x 1 picture

 

c.) Properly and completely filled up application form (AT Form 2a)

 

d.) Certified true photocopy of Form 138 (Report Card)

 

e.) Sealed recommendation form properly filled up and duly signed by any of the following recommending personnel: Principal, Class Adviser or Guidance Counselor

  • Notes:
    •  For Levels 8 - 10: Upon the advice of ATO personnel, applicants in these levels are to first report for interview and evaluation of their qualifications before payment of the admissions processing fee. They should bring a certificate of good moral character and their report card (original and photocopy).

    •  The school accepts qualified transferees who passed the entrance test only if there are slots available in their respective grade or year levels.

    •  The photocopy of the report card is only considered certified true and correct if it bears the signature and contact details of the school's Principal/Registrar and/or the imprint of the school's dry seal.

 Additional Requirements for Foreign Students:

  • Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR)
  • English translation of birth certificate and pertinent school records

 

 
:: Application Procedures

1. Proceed to the Admissions and Testing Office (ATO) for initial screening

 

2. Pay the admissions processing fee at the cashier's office

- Php 100.00 for Nursery

- Php 200.00 for Kinder, Prep, Levels 1 and 7

- Php 250.00 for Transferees (Levels 2 - 6 and Levels 8 - 10)

 

 

3. Present the official receipt of payment to the ATO staff to secure application form (AT Form 2a with recommendation form) and information on entrance test schedule

 

4. To obtain a test permit, submit all the requirements to the ATO staff at least one week before the preferred admission test date

 

5. Take the entrance test on the scheduled date

 

6. Claim the entrance test result on the scheduled date at the ATO

 

 

 

 
:: For Parents/Applicants Applying Via Internet

Procedures to follow:

  1. Please read thoroughly the basic requirements for application
  2. Download, then completely and accurately fill-up AT Form 2a. Send it at once to: liezel.fernandez@dlsl.edu.ph for acknowledgement and approval
  3. Have the following ready:

  4.  A. Two (2) copies - identical 1x1 picture
     B. Photocopy of birth certificate and latest report card (Note: This has to be certified true/correct)
  1. Please go over the recommendation form (AT Form 2c). Print and fill-up the topmost box and do as required
  2. 5.1 For your payment:
                  Have the required admissions-processing fee paid at the Financial Resource Department’s Office
                  (FRDO). E-mail to us the following details:

                     - Date of Payment
                     - O.R. number
                     - Preferred test date

     5.2. For the test permit: Policy: ("No permit, no test")
                 Have the test permit printed then and paste one of the 2 I.D. pictures on the provided space. (Please clip  the spare copy)

    Note: If the applicant will not be able to make it on the preferred exam date, please notify us.
                                                                  
  1. Come on the test date with all the requirements (including the exam permit) in a long, brown envelope written on which are the applicant's name and test date
  2. On Results:
    Results can be given thru any of these two ways:
    a. At the ATO upon presentation of the claim stub.
    b. Thru e-mail (upon request)

:: On Scholarships

ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS

Students who excel in academics, regardless of their economic status, may apply for academic scholarships

  • CONSISTENT SCHOLARS. High School students from Level 7 to Level 9 who ranked first, second and third in the final average grade for their respective year levels may receive a consistent academic scholarship grant incentive. They may be awarded 100% (1st rank), 75% (2nd rank), and 50% (3rd rank) tuition fee discount in the succeeding school year
  • EXPANDED SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS PROGRAM . This scholarship grants program aims to increase the number of academic scholars enrolled in the Integrated School from the high performing elementary feeder schools. The applicant must be a graduating elementary school student at the time of the application, belongs to the top three of the graduating batch and has satisfied the cut-off scores for its respective academic ranking
  • STAR SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS PROGRAM. In recognition of the excellent performance in the entrance examination, top ten entrance examinees regardless of academic ranking is given 100% discount on tuition fee

TUITION DISCOUNTS FOR A SPECIFIED NUMBER OF CHILDREN

Parents who have three children enrolled at DLSL may be granted a 25% discount on the tuition fee of a fourth child. Their fifth child may enjoy a 50% discount on tuition and any of the additional children may be granted a 100% tuition discount. Eligibility for this benefit is based on the number of children enrolled at DLSL at any one time. Nursery curriculum is not covered by this type of scholarship program.

 

SCHOLARSHIP FOR FINANCIALLY DISADVANTAGED BUT ACADEMICALLY QUALIFIED STUDENTS

  • WORKING STUDENT STATUS.
          Maintenance Assistants perform maintenance services in offices for which they are entitled to a
        100% discount on tuition and fees
  • SPECIAL PRIORITIES PROGRAM
         Free School is the Scholarship grant under this type. The grant covers 100% discount on tuition
         and fees
  • PD 577
        This is an educational assistance to the dependents of military personnel who die or become      incapacitated in line of duty

Applications for all scholarship grants begin on August 1 of every school year. The application period for non-academic scholarships ends in December, while that for academic scholarship ends in May. Application forms are available at the LAMP Office.

 

 

 
:: Supplementary Intervention Program

There are supplementary academic intervention program/s and/or classes to help students (especially those coming from abroad) meet DepEd requirements or learn English or Filipino as a second or foreign language.

Applicant candidates for this program are interviewed by the ATO Head.

 

 

 
:: Important Dates

SECURING OF APPLICATION FORMS / INITIAL SCREENING

Levels 8 to 10 - March 2008 onwards  

TESTING SCHEDULES
January up to May 2008

Test schedules in different levels are posted at the IS Admissions & Testing Office. Tests are mostly given on Saturdays. (School day testing - only upon request)
