GUIDELINES FOR FOREIGN STUDENT APPLICANTS
Foreign Students are categorized as follows:
Category A
Foreign Students – Aliens with legal supporting documents for study purposes
Category B
Naturalized Filipinos – Aliens who, upon petition, were issued recognition of Filipino citizenship by the Bureau of Immigration, and therefore now enjoy rights and privileges as Filipinos.
Natural-born Filipinos – Filipinos who were educated abroad.
Students in both categories are understood to have studied in another country for years before enrolling here.
Guidelines for admission of foreign students are based on these categories. In addition to the above guidelines, the following shall likewise apply:
- Applicants must have completed at least the Eleventh Grade or its equivalent.
- Those under Category A should present the following:
a. Special Study Permit or Student Visa
b. Alien Certificate of Residence
c. Foreign Students fee, $200.00
- Applicants are required to take the Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
- The student’s stay in the country should remain valid while enrolled at the DLSL.
D. APPLICATION PROCEDURES FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS
- Present a copy of complete grades (transcript of records) at the Admissions Office for evaluation.
- If qualified to take the entrance examination, pay the admissions-processing fee of $200.00 at the Cashier’s Office.
- Present the official receipt to the Admissions Office to secure application form and schedule of admissions test.
- Submit to the Admissions Office the completed application form with all the required documents contained in a long brown envelope. Incomplete requirements will not be processed.
- Secure your admissions test permit. The date and the venue of the examination will be indicated on the permit.
- Take the admissions test on the scheduled date. Applicants must be at the designated testing room at least 30 minutes before the examination. Late examinees will not be allowed to take the examination. The test permit must be presented to the proctor.
- Get the status letter from the Admissions Office on the announced date for release of results.
- Applicants who qualify for admission are required to submit the following on the enrollment date specified in the acceptance letter.
- Transcript of records duly authenticated by the Philippine Embassy in the applicant’s
country of origin and two (2) photocopies
- Two (2) photocopies of Passport data page and arrival
- Original copy and two photocopies of NSO-certified birth certificate
- Two (2) 2”x 2” recent, identical color pictures with white background
- Accomplished information sheet
- Those who qualify must pay the reservation fee of P1, 000.00 within the period stated in the notice of acceptance. ADMISSION IS ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS. The reservation fee is non- refundable and non-transferable, but will be deducted from the tuition and fees to be paid during enrollment.

SCHEDULE OF TESTING
The De La Salle Lipa Admissions Tests are usually given on Saturdays from July until April. Special Testing on weekdays may be held, depending on the number of examinees. Test registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
