BS Economics is a field of study which focuses on resource scarcity and its implications on individuals, nations and the world. The fundamental economic fact is that resources (natural, human and capital) are scarce in relation to their potential uses and as such, users have to make choices on how these resources are to be used. They have to consider the costs and the benefits that go with the choices made.
