    Project K hosted Division Superintendents Meeting
    On August 23, 2006, Project K hosted a meeting of all Regional IV-A (CALABARZON) Schools Division Superintendents at the Mabini Building Mini-Auditorium., De La Salle Lipa. The event was graced by Dr. Rosalinda Tamondong, Assistant Director of DepEd Region IV-A, officials and school superintendents from Laguna, Quezon, Batangas, Lipa, Tanauan, CaAvite and Rizal. Project K has created awareness among the other schools in the region and has significantly awakened the interests of the superintendents and shool heads. The meeting focused on Project K's sharing of experiences and lessons learned and best practices generated during its four-year existence. The meeting also provided Project K the opportunity to network with the larger community of DepEd in the region.
     
    Exposure trip to Project REY at Pampanga
    Project K Technical Staffs, along with its coordinators from the City Vice Mayor's Office, paid a visit to the Office of Congressman Rey Aquino last May 11, 2006 at San Fernando City, Pampanga. The team was welcomed by Mr. Glenn Aguas and Jonathan yabut who serve as staff members for Project REY Foundation. The visit aimed to share Pampanga's experiences in sustaining the activities of project REY. Through this sharing, project K could derive information in sustaining the project.
