Coloring books from Councilor Rowena Sombrano were given away to the kids.
Project K in collaboration with the Barangay Council of Lodlod, and the Confederation of Catholic Doctrine did a storytelling activity at the Lodlod Barangay Plaza on January 16, 2005. Children experienced a whole afternoon of fun and learning with the storytellers. Local entrepreneurs provided free ice cream and cotton candy for the children. Councilor Rowena Africa gave away coloring books to the kids.This activity was done as a pilot activity to test the community response to similar activities and to determine potentials for scaling – up.
