Formation of Committees and Workbook Developers |
| |
|
The bulk of the project will be focused on the development of reading workbooks for all the public elementary school pupils. The workbook developers will be comprised of specially selected teachers and a general committee composed of the English Supervisor, District Supervisors and Principals in Charge of English will oversee the making of the workbooks, ensuring that they are properly written and congruent with the lesson plans already developed.
A major component of the Project K is workbook development for the public school pupils of Lipa City. The Language and Reading English Workbook is the product of the public school teachers’ and Project K’s collaborative effort of improving the reading competencies of public school children in Lipa City. This standardized workbook was based on the Four-Pronged Approach in teaching adopted by our elementary public school teachers. Furthermore, the workbook’s contents were customized according to the local setting, using illustrations and examples that describe the culture and lifestyle in Batangas. |
