 Despite the heavy rains yesterday, August 14, 2012, De la Salle Lipa faculty, staff and some members of the Alumni Association distributed relief goods to the affected families in the coastal area of Lemery, Batangas. Six barangays were visited, namely: Wawa Ilaya, Wawa Ibaba, Maguihan, District 1, Sambal Ibaba, and Palanas which is DLSL’s partner community in mangrove planting. The distribution was properly coordinated with the DSWD, MENRO, PNP and the barangay officials of Lemery. The institution would like to thank all the Lasallian Partners for the unwavering support of the Relief Operations.
