College of Law Internship Opportunities

One of the factors that sets the De La Salle Lipa College of Law Juris Doctor Program apart from a mere Bachelor of Laws Program is the requirement of outstanding participation of JD students in a summer internship course.

The latter aims to bring the JD students out of the intellectual confines of the classroom and into the rigors and realities of the outside world.

Some notable institutions which have this early generously opened their hallowed doors to the De La Salle Lipa College of Law Juris Doctor students are the following:
  1. Supreme Court – the Highest Court in the land and the final arbiter of justiceable controversies;
  2. Court of Appeals – which reviews and decides on all cases from the entire country brought before it on appeal;
  3. Office of the Solicitor General – the law firm of the Republic of the Philippines; and
  4. Office of Legal Affairs, Department of Foreign Affairs – which provides legal assistance to the DFA Secretary on matters concerning the interpretation and application of Philippine treaties, conventions and other international agreements.
