Three La Salle schools have collaborated to publish the maiden issue of the Sinaya Journal focusing on Humanities, Social Sciences and the Arts last February 4, 2022. These include De La Salle University Integrated School, De La Salle Santiago – Zobel, and De La Salle Lipa (DLSL).
The inaugural issue highlights the partnership and efforts of Senior High School students and teachers in cultivating a dynamic culture of research in basic education.
Sinaya features six articles that offer fresh perspectives on ghosting, priming, and composite faces, feline confinement, social media beauty influencers, Muslim modesty, and bibliotherapy.
The De La Salle schools believe this maiden issue imparts to readers and the Lasallian community a new beginning of more synergistic scholarly partnerships and teamwork between Senior High School learners.
It can be described as a herculean feat made possible by the support of individuals who were part of the entire publication process. Credit goes to the Sinaya Journal Advisory and Editorial Board Members who were at the helm of this initiative. Also, part of its success are experts who carefully reviewed the content and school administrators who were responsible for laying the groundwork. Finally, the Senior High School students and their mentors, who submitted very informative articles, also deserve praise.
Part of the editorial board as Editors are De La Salle Lipa Partners Ms. Jamie de la Paz, MAT and Ms. Gean Erica, MBA, while one of the Managing Editors is Ms. Maria Angelica Samonte. Dr. Analiza Resurreccion, on the other hand, serves as part of the Advisory Board and one of the Co-Founding Editors.
