De La Salle Lipa added a new program to its current collection of offerings starting School Year 2022-2023, the BS Architecture program.
The addition of this program is representative of the school’s commitment to designing sustainable communities and infrastructure. At the same time, the school aims to equip students with the knowledge they need to keep up with the latest developments in the field of architecture.
BS Architecture focuses on the complex task of building structures and improving human life. Students will learn about the various aspects of planning that go into each architectural project. They will be taught how to conceptualize structures and adjust their design elements.
As students progress through the course, they will develop a greater understanding of the aesthetic, practical, and scientific considerations that go into each architectural project. They can also develop a better sense of planning the project so construction goes smoothly.
DLSL students will also develop more diverse skillsets by taking up BS Architecture. They will learn about properly investigating the structural integrity of buildings, coming up with formal evaluations, and drawing up contract agreements.
Preparing Architecture Students for the 21st Century
Graduates of De La Salle Lipa’s BS Architecture program will be groomed into becoming capable leaders. The school will emphasize teaching students how to lead building projects as well as the importance of developing core competencies that enable them to become socially responsible citizens of the world.
BS Architecture students can also pursue different careers after completing their course at DLSL. Becoming a design architect is one of many career options available to graduates. They can also pursue careers as environmental planners, cartographers, and consultants using the knowledge they gain.
De La Salle Lipa is eager to accommodate new students who are interested in diving into the field of architecture. The upcoming school year is full of promise thanks in large part to the introduction of this new course.
