Lasallian Partners enthusiastic about biking are in for a treat as a bikers’ club dubbed as “Bikers in Action: Keepers of the Environment” (BIKE) Club has been established this school year. DLSL BIKE Club, headed by Mr. Randolph Renegado, was formed last September 2019 and has 20 active members whose main goal is to build a solid group of Lasallian Partners-bike enthusiasts while also reducing carbon footprint.
The group has already conducted various activities these past months. They went to several provinces across the region as of this writing – from Marinduque, Mindoro, and Batangas. In fact, on November 10, 2019, they had a Fun Ride and Clean up Drive at Balete, Batangas known as “Novembikefest: Fun Ride and Cleanup Drive”. It also served as an avenue for the team to donate medications to the indigents of the municipality. Partners from other La Salle schools also took part in this activity.
As the organization continues to flourish, DLSL BIKE Club is gearing towards having more members and continuing their mission: to be keepers of the environment while staying healthy and well bonded as a group.
